A life-long lover of theater, Alexandra Garfield has experience viewing and writing about theater in five major cities on two continents.

In 2016, Alexandra earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Journalism and Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She worked hard and graduated with both degrees in only four years. She also spent her graduate year reviewing the famous Chicago Theater scene for the Medill News Service.

Alexandra also has experience on the stage herself. She has performed in more than twenty productions, including five professional plays and musicals. She has both academic and experiential knowlege on stage and behind the scenes. She uses this knowlege in her reviews to better articulate the theater experience.
